Face Hunter

Everyone knows him. He became quickly a member of the hype popular scene. I had the pleasure to meet him, and he surprised me on a lot of points.

Yvan isn't pretentious and close-minded. He isn't bored by all his photos and all his many travels. He doesn't feel superior and full of himself. He doesn't pretend to be a superstar.

Yvan lives the life at 200 per cent. He's friendly. He's so excited before each trips. He likes his, I quote, 'life permonance' and asks more. He is a geek. He has a point of view about all, and a pertinent testimonial about all countries which he visited. He takes care about his fans in writting often bulletins on Myspace and in publishing photos on Blogspot each day. He still seems a child, but a very professional child. He enjoys the life.

I could listen him to talk during hours. And hours.

For people who live in a far away land and who doesn't Face Hunter. I resume some details about his adventure. It's in 2006 that Yvan started to do photography. The beginning was not so pleasant, he ran vernissages, trendy parties and realises uggly portraits of people who looks nice. Then, he published on his blog, in a joke shape. Little by little, he refines his style and did full length portraits of singular styles. And all became serious. June 19th 2006, first publication in ELLE France. You know the follow-up. Today he lives his fairy tale thanks to his beginning joke. 

There is one month ago, one more of his dreams came alive. The Face Hunter Show was born. A combinaison between the metting of people ''in the top of the moment'' and anonyme personns for who fashion is an obsession. Face Hunter doesn't stay penned in the fashion world, he opens his way at all kind of art. The all traited by city. First, the result is amazing.  Second, it's too short, it's so frustrating because when it's finish you would like to know better the fabulous interviewing persons and spend more time with them. I can't tell you more. Just, be carefull, you will be soon addicted.
